Signing up online and getting text updates made the process super easy. I liked that my contact with individuals that may have been sick was minimal. They were thorough and friendly. I love that our town has an Urgent care to service our community. The nurses and doctors were so friendly. I will definitely use them again.
Went to Urgent Care on 1/8/2024. I registered and was informed to be there within 44 minutes. I got there and checked in immediately at the computer. Sat for 1 1/2 hrs waiting to be called to waiting room. Spent another 45 minutes in there. Was given a diagnosis. Got a steroid shot and an antibiotic shot and was told they would send an antibiotic script to my pharmacy. It is now 1/9/2024 at 6:00 and the script has still not been sent. I have also called and left two messages to no avail. Might as well have gone to ER.
The non personal sign in online is confusing and when you have to stop to upload an insurance card or Id it starts you over. Then I transposed his birth year from 47 to 74 and they made me do it all over again. Also had to pay twice and have to wait for a refund. You need someone at the front desk again. If I had just taken my father and not stayed with him it would never have gotten done.
Highly unprofessional front desk work. In fact, they don’t even have a front desk. I have watched person after person walk in without any assistance. One lady waited 20 minutes for someone just to come to the front- and when they did they said they would give her assistance shortly. She waited another 30 minutes before someone came up and essentially told her to get service through a kiosk that isn’t working. The nurse had an attitude and seemed to be eager to blame the customer for not listening to the prompts on the screen. All in all this lady left without help. I have never heard of a practice without at least one person operating the front desk- and I see now why I haven’t. I don’t know about the doctors here, but the service alone deserves that one star. Fire the person that got rid of the front desk.
The NP was very nice and helpful. The patient treatment was lacking. No one wanted to be there. I never got a BP ck, temp, look in ears, throat, even though I complained about All. It is also very hard for older people to use the kiosk and no one was up front.
Me & my grandkids arrive at urgent care in Eufaula AL and we waited over 2 hours to be seen in the lobby. There was no one sitting at the front desk. I registered on line from my phone and they said they couldn’t see our registration. I registered on their computer at the front desk and again they came out to call another person and I asked about my registration and I again they said they could not see it. I was not the only person complaining about the registration. The nurse and nurse practitioner was very nice and apologetic but I had 2 kids running a fever with the flu. I will never ever use urgent care in Eufaula AL AGAIN.
Really nice experience with MainStreet Family / Urgent Care. Was on vacation and unfortunately came down with a brutal cold. After 4 days I was ready to see a Dr! Was able to get checked in within 30 minutes. The facility took my insurance, and had me out the door in about 2 hours. There would be no way even back home I could get in/out that fast. I really appreciate it, and I'm now hopeful the rest of my vacation I will not be sick! Thank you! :)
The staff care was excellent. Latisha was as especially kind and helpful. The person who did the sutures was also very good.
The check in procedure however, was a nightmare. We needed immediate care for a wound that was bleeding profusely because the patient takes blood thinner. Before we could get any help we had to check in online. It took more than thirty minutes and had to get from someone online. There was blood on the counter and floor and someone brought us a container to catch the blood until we could finish the check in procedure and pay the co-pay. This is unacceptable if your goal is good patient care.
Please seriously consider a more patient friendly procedure.
